WELCOME TO SHAME UNIVERSITY! Thank you for taking the time to check us out. The idea behind Shame University is simple, but it is powerful. When I ran for office in this past election cycle, abolishing Citizen’s United was part of my platform.  This ruling, as you will recall, is what makes Super PACs possible. Nothing would make me happier than to have this ruling overturned and all of my work in forming this Super PAC rendered to dust. Until it is, we cannot continue to bring a knife to a gunfight. 

With the election of a convicted felon as President, the Republican’s complete abrogation of their oversight responsibilities, and a thoroughly corrupt Supreme Court, we are now in full resistance mode. Too many of our public officials believe that they are untouchable - either through gerrymandering or by taking advantage of our dysfunctional media ecosystem. They only appear on propaganda networks set up by billionaires. They only have “town halls” that are controlled and rigged - if they have them at all. They engage in outrageous performative behavior in our hallowed halls of Democracy so they can raise money off of the “clicks” and “likes” they receive on social media.

If you are sick and tired of this perverse cycle of outrageous behavior being rewarded, join us in leveling the playing field. The common weakness shared by all of these bad actors is VANITY. They have become so self-important that they have lost all sense of shame as they desperately cling to their reputations and their sense of power. Shame University is here to remind them of what shame feels like. When a politician’s conduct reaches a certain level, they will become what we call a “scholarship recipient”. A fleet of mobile LED billboards will follow these unworthy office holders to their districts and to their events bearing their image with the word “SHAME” emblazoned across it. A QR code will direct the public to social media content that will enlighten them as to how this politician earned their scholarship by bringing dishonor to their high office. We call them out. We set the record straight. We ask their voters to kindly do better.

We are in the first phase of our fund raising efforts. This initial $500,000 drive will allow us to establish legal and accounting support, build out our online presence, improve our production quality (the initial video is a concept video and not reflective of the quality standard we set for ourselves), and purchase the first mobile billboard of our fleet. 

We are at the beginning of great new adventure in the resistance of patriotic Americans against fascism. Having these billboard stationed across the country allows them to be deployed quickly when and where our adversary’s conduct warrants it. Press releases will go out ahead of deployment to maximize impact. Citizens will be able to submit “scholarship applications” for bad actors in their communities. As the fleet is deployed to major cities, they can swing through smaller towns and districts with highly customized content for shameful local politicians. Shame University is cost effective and agile - but we have to act fast. Our opponents are short on ideas but deep in dark money. They will almost certainly try to replicate our efforts. The faster we deploy, the more impactful we will be in the upcoming election cycle. Please join us by contributing what you can. That doesn’t mean that all donations of any amount aren’t needed and appreciated.
